Pretty good! Not. perfect, but the best Ive tried.
*Edit: After having this for a bit, the issue I have is itll sometimes play music for 1 second and stop. You have to then unplug it and plug it back in to get it going again, which doesnt take long. You will randomly have a black screen as it tries to connect, vs. almost immediate. And if someone tries. to call you? Forget it. You cant answer. It hangs up and you have to call back. What sucks about all these aftermarket dongles is that phone calls switch back to factory phone instead to CarPlay. If I had $700 to blow, Id want the factory wireless CarPlay retrofitted instead. This thing is awesome! Ive had to return 2 different brands that had good reviews but this one works amazingly well! Takes 60 seconds to setup and takes 5-10 seconds to startup. No issues in connection. I like that it can be flush up against the USB and not dangling with a cable. Im able to retain all of my original functions including steering wheel controls and Siri in my 2020 Silverado LT. Only issue is skipping songs takes twice as long as plugged in. But there are times where it is just as fast, so strangely this is inconsistent. It also wont crash when you decide to plug your phone into your charger. You just follow the screen prompt to not disconnect and youre still fine without interruption. Im so glad I got this for $50 and it works as well as retrofitting to factory wireless CarPlay which would be like $700!
